A cross between a Football Bar and a Swiss Bar, the ATX American Press Bar is perhaps more multi-functional than the two. Most commonly used to reduce stress or impingement in shoulder complex during pressing movements, it can also be used for Bent-Over Rows and various arm exercises, including diamond-grip/ narrow-grip bench press.

Since ATX released the bar, it is now more commonly known as the American Press Bar.

Suitable for use with olympic (2″/ 50mm) weight plates. Sold separately.

The heavy-gauge steel construction is fully-welded and the sleeves are double reinforced; therefore, the bar is capable of a load capacity of 250kg. The multiple angles of grip are perfect for Bench Press, Military Press, Close-Grip Bench Press, Hammer Curls, Triceps Extensions, and more.

30mm thick handles with knurling for improved grip.
Solid steel tube construction, fully welded with double reinforced ends.

The shaft size is 130cm and comfortably fits olympic-width benches and racks measuring to 124cm in width.
